RWO Salon: New Music Potluck

October 23, 2011 at 7:30pm | Christ Church United Methodist (520 Park Avenue, New York, NY)
FREE ADMISSION

RWO kicks off our first Salon series! What’s a Salon, you ask? It’s a chance to hang out with and perform for your friends and make new ones. It’s a chance to experiment, workshop, and figure out if that thing you’ve been working on works. And because it’s at a Methodist church, it’s a potluck. Bring a covered dish and we’ll all sit around and eat and listen to new music. Also, bring booze.

October 23rd’s program features new music by George Lam performed by Robert Maril, Elisabeth Halliday, and Zach Herchen; the premiere of the new Brooklyn-based band KINGS; Cory Davis and his roving pack of string musicians; bass David Salsbery Fry; and the folk-ish stylings of Jason Reed.
